2:50:12 No, you don't. There's the data, and you don't have it.

2:07:00 True, but that doesn't help at all. If people invest their time, they want something in return, they want to be able to get something for it. "Value" isn't a thing in itself, it's the ability to get something in the future. That's not going away in any way or form, no matter, how it expresses itself.

1:00:28 Humans have built systems, which of course are connected with their environment, but are pretty self-contained, so from that we learn how to think systemically. On the other hand, one could argue that we omit a whole lot of interrelations by artificially only looking at them in an isolated, self-contained way, while we in fact have no clue at all how to do anything systemically, so the systems we create ourselves conflict with most of the environment around them and we pretend that they're not. But if we go to wider cybernetics, that's not fully systemic either. Systemic thinking could refer not so much to understand everything and master complexity, but those tools and the study and development thereof that seem to be best to help us with that. Even if they cause more harm than they help, it's the best we've got so far, not doing it systemically would be far worse (or prevent us from doing anything big that could become harmful, another possible solution).

45:35 The Pirate Party has one big problem, that didn't make them the huge success in comparison to Sweden: we didn't have our own The Pirate Bay moment. Hence, nobody really cared. Don't know if one would look at what Estonia is doing.

3:08:07 You can hardly advance from the beginning of social media, because a few companies have it in their iron grip, and whatever you try to start, you start without years of data and conversation that the other sites have accumulated. No contacts, no people, no conversations, no history, no future.
