1:40:33 Emergence doesn't have or need plans, that's the point.

1:37:38 I don't understand how there can be so much confusion about the CCCs.

1:34:13 Exactly. I can set up a payment mechanism for "supporting the GCC", keep 95% of whatever money comes through it for myself for "providing the payment service" and pass some 5% on to the GCC, and you all have to be perfectly fine with it, is that what you're arguing for? Not to mention spending "initiatives"...

1:22:02 A "should have" refers to a neglect, a "should" is a suggestion. It's a very easy approach to just take initiative, not care about the interests of all the others, do things without, besides or against them just as one likes to, but it's quite risky because an investment in such an initiative might get rendered void, and with some efforts, the wasted capacity can be quite substantial.

1:14:59 Who says that the GCC is a group or has the need to align on anything, let's just every participant emerge their own payment processing.

53:32, 1:05:34 and 1:15:46 How comes that you forgot your own reoccurring payment via this mechanism? The human brain and remembrance isn't to trust too much, and even with things written down, it takes lot of work to ensure that all functions are available and apparent when needed. Or what other strategy could you suggest to avoid the same scenario in another 10 months, with the same or slightly different set of people?

49:38 If you take money, it's income, and you usually have to pay taxes for it because it's the LAW and will be enforced by the state, no matter what new models one might come up with.

10:00 One might not really exist any more (except for the land masses of Greenland and Canada) and the other, who knows, tropical? I guess there will be a somewhat increased population density there by then...

1:48:06 Marriage is the public announcement of waiving all interest in potential other partners, with witnesses and the ring convention, special benefits but also obligations. If you guys indeed don't care about holding commitments, you shouldn't enter any, but then can only do big, investment-intensive things with a high risk of loosing it. Contracts, agreements are there to provide incentives for their fulfillment and punishment when they're not fulfilled, so they make it more likely that the intended outcome can be achieved.
