Yes and no. Have you heard about the granular society, that the tools also allow us to discover more differences and individuality? Also, mass movements as organized cheaply and ad-hoc via social media or similar can easily be hijacked or compromised, and the bad guys can use these tools as well. So it's not all sunshine I fear...
